Programme of related events
To accompany the exhibition White as the Colour of Snow Cricoteka has prepared a programme of related events aimed to illuminate contexts of the show that took place in Rome, presenting the work by Tadeusz Kantor and the artists associated with Cricot 2 Theatre. The idea behind the exhibition and the circumstances of its staging will be discussed by the organizers of the Kraków show, invited artists and Kantor scholars. The cricotage Where Are the Snows of Yesteryear (1979) will provide a major point of reference for the programme. It will serve as inspiration for a theatre workshop as well as the finissage of the show during which an open tango lesson is going to be taught at Cricoteka. The motto for educational workshops is emballage – the artistic form predominant in the exhibition of Tadeusz Kantor’s work.
The programme also features events addressed at English speaking visitors.
