Szpagetowa dzikość / Erik Sikora’s Performance

Friday, 16/05/2025

Erik Sikora describes himself as a citizen, a father, an artist, a songwriter, and a rural alien. He analyzes and deconstructs his life experiences down to the smallest detail, then enriches them through various forms such as vlogs, poetry, and performances inspired by Pecha Kucha and TEDx formats. About his performance at Cricoteka, he writes:

“A Slovak artist comes to measure Kraków. With a special measuring device for detecting the curvature of the shape of reality. A homemade hygrometer. Industrially produced raw spaghetti, each strand identical, becomes wild and gains personality when placed in a public space. You’ll witness the artist planting spaghetti in a performative lecture that twists spaghetti around the very language itself.”
