Every Thursday in August, join us on the Cricoteka’s square for the summer stage of our Polifonie project!
In the third facet of the exhibition we encourage a reflection on the tension between a living actor and his dummy, which exists in Tadeusz Kantor’s art. The exhibition will be open for public from February 16.
Cricoteka and Mundin Publishing are pleased to announce the release of the first issue of the magazine Pavilionesque, devoted to the notion of concepts of miniaturization, dolls and puppets in contemporary art and theater.

This year we’d like to invite you to join us on an extraordinary journey to Japan. Our honourable guest to Cricoteka’s 2nd Birthday is Ushio Shinohara – a Japanese performance artist and painter, apparently distant from, yet subversively related to Kantor’s work.

This year’s series of theatre workshops is focused around ‘confusing concepts’, the terms described by Tadeusz Kantor in his texts. Actors of the Cricot 2 Theatre – Roman Siwulak, Ludmiła Ryba, Andrzej Kowalczyk, Andrzej and Teresa Wełmiński, Bogdan Renczyński and Tomasz Dobrowolski.
Exhibition is displayed at the Antonio Pasqualino International Puppet Museum in Palermo.
