Kacper Lipiński (born in 1979) — studied art history and graduated from the Graphics Department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Poznań. Martial arts instructor. In the years 2004 – 2008 he participated in several performances of the Polish Dance Theatre in Poznań where he also designed costumes and prepared videos for some of the productions. Lipiński received a scholarship from the Alternative Dance Academy of the Art Stations Foundation in Poznań. He debuted as choreographer with the solo IME EKTASI presented as part of the Stary Browar Nowy Taniec project. Next came the pieces: DU łe DU (2008), …a słowo ciałem… a z ciała słowo… (2009), Testament (2011), Niepamięć (rzeczywistość zakłamana) (2012), Dziwne zdarzenie mistrza Ło/Strange Case of Master Ło (2012) and wOkOłO (2014). Lipiński also creates video projects and performances such as Dźwięk nieprzejawiony or a series of interconnected performances focused on movement and based on the relationship between body vs. image and live music: Position of A. Place nr.: … In the years 2008–2013 he was a member of an independent theatre ensemble Movements Factory. Since 2012 Lipiński has been associated with an independent theatre group Circus Ferus. Currently Lipiński works as photographer, graphic designer, illustrator, choreographer and performer, trying to combine movement with visual arts. Since 2011 he has organized classes and developed his own movement system F.G.D. based on his previous experience in sports, dance and martial arts.
