If we renounce the traditional scenery, it is not for formal reasons.
There are more important ones.
The space is occupied by forms which are expressive of
t h e  a c t i o n’s  d e v e l o p m e n t
i t s  s t r u c t u r e,  d y n a m i c s  a n d  c o n f l i c t s,
t h e  c l i m a x e s
which build up  t e n s i o n
and involve the actor in dramatic
interactions.
